About the Artists:

SEEMEN, founded by Kal Spelletich, is a collaborative of some forty odd art drop outs and extreme technology inventors who enjoy exploring their taste for the dark side of technology and perfecting their robotic art. Since their formation eleven years ago in Austin, Texas, SEEMEN has presented more than 150 performances throughout the United States and Canada at numerous venues including the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert, night clubs, warehouses, and freeway underpasses. Their works have been exhibited at the Jack Hanley Gallery and included in the collections of the New York Museum of Modern Art and the Getty Museum. SEEMEN has received numerous grant awards from The Jerome Foundation, Art Matters, Art Without Walls, and many others. Their CD, SEEMEN, is available on Bomp Records.
