Odd problem & solution!

I saw this new (for me) problem today Waiting for 3ware Controller to Initialize... There is no response from the firmware Please hit a key to continue. The firmware is incompatible with BIOS. The machine is a 2.2 TB NAS with a Super Micro p8SCi motherboard. I called 3ware tech support, and they said to reseat the card. I unplugged the riser card (since the machine is in a 2U case), raid card, and reseated them. Now it works fine. Phew! I had tried rebooting, unplugging the power cord, and mucking with the BIOS settings to no avail.
